Joe Biden has chosen former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm to serve as his Secretary of Energy, according to reports

Politico and the Wall Street Journal reported the decision Tuesday. Granholm was attorney general of Michigan from 1999 to 2003 and the 47th Governor of Michigan from 2003 to 2011. She was the first woman to serve as Michigan's governor.
