President-elect Joe Biden received his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and is 'looking forward to the second shot,' he said

Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, got the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine on Monday and will be due for their second dose in three weeks. Vice President Mike Pence was also vaccinated publicly last week in an effort to build trust in the new shots, but President Trump is not known to have been inoculated.
