President Trump arrives in Vietnam for a two-day summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un following last year’s meeting in Singapore

Trump and aides seek a precise North Korean plan to dismantle its weapons facilities, while Kim wants the U.S. to first end economic sanctions against his impoverished country. Trump has tried to tamp down expectations for the talks, saying at one point he is in no "rush" to see North Korea denuclearize, provided that Kim maintains a moratorium on testing.
