Raphael Warnock wins Georgia runoff for US Senate, moving Democrats one seat closer to control of the upper chamber

Warnock's win brings Democrat’s chances of taking control of the powerful chamber one step closer. Warnock also became the first Black man elected as U.S. senator from Georgia with his victory and the first Democrat elevated to the Senate from Georgia in 20 years.
