Sen. Lindsey Graham says McConnell’s speech blasting Trump will haunt the Republican party: 'That speech you will see in 2022 campaigns'

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said Sunday that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's speech castigating former President Donald Trump for "dereliction of duty" in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol would be used against Republican candidates in the 2022 election. "He got a load off his chest, obviously, but unfortunately he put a load on the back of Republicans,” Graham said of McConnell.
