'Sometimes you have to walk': Trump says Kim Jong Un wanted U.S. to lift sanctions against North Korea during denuclearization talks

In a news conference after summit talks abruptly broke off on Thursday, Trump said Kim, whom he described as "quite a guy," insisted on having all sanctions removed before he would pursue a denuclearization plan with the United States. "It was about the sanctions," Trump said, adding: "We couldn't give up all the sanctions."
