The Virginia Beach gunman gave 2 weeks notice just hours before his deadly rampage. But officials say he had no disciplinary issues

The gunman submitted his resignation by email the morning of the shooting, City Manager Dave Hansen said near the end of a news conference Sunday. Earlier, Hansen said the shooter was "in good standing" in his job and "there were no disciplinary issues ongoing."
