Thousands of police officers across the US are on prosecutors’ lists of witnesses with credibility problems. Many still testify.

USA TODAY gathered records from thousands of prosecutors and police departments to identify more than 5,000 cops on Brady lists. Many prosecutors don’t keep lists at all. And hundreds of cops with credibility issues continue testifying against unwitting defendants.
