Three paint buckets full of uranium exposed Grand Canyon tourists in Arizona to radiation — for years

Radiation at a museum collections building 80 miles north of Flagstaff, Arizona, wasn't discovered until March 2018 by the teenage son of a park employee who happened to be a Geiger counter enthusiast, a Park Service safety official says. The radiation had been present since 2000, said the official, Elston "Swede" Stephenson.
