MBTS Library Summer Reading 

It’s summer reading time at the library, so game on with our Bookopoly activity boards. All ages can stop in to pick up a Bookopoly board and complete activities for a chance to win amazing prizes. All kids, age 0-12 who return a completed board will win a Topsfield Fair prize pack. Teens will be entered into a raffle to win Canobie Lake Park passes and adults have a chance to win The Castle: Gaming Café and Restaurant gift certificates. Come and enjoy a community game night, escape room and arthropod petting zoo. Click here for more info and get in the game! 

Library Closing Early Friday, August 2 at 1:00PM 

The Manchester Library will close early at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 2nd to prepare for the Manchester Friends of the Library's Annual Summer Book Sale being held this year on the front lawn.

Friends of the Library Book Sale
SATURDAY, AUGUST 3 AT 9:00 AM—4:00 PM

Join us for a fun-filled morning at the Manchester Summer Book Sale during the Festival by the Sea. At 10am, The Music Man, Brian Doser, will be performing on the library lawn. Known for his lively performances, Brian Doser brings music and joy to toddlers and their caregivers. Sing and dance along with the Music Man, pick up some great used books, and support the local library too. Don’t miss this wonderful event! Both cash and checks are accepted. All proceeds benefit the Manchester-by-the-Sea Public Library.  

Don't miss this chance to get amazing books and more while supporting the Friends of the Library who have sponsored the permanent StoryWalk, beautiful landscaping, library lawn furniture, new Reference Room furniture, museum passes and countless library programs through decades of support. Our Library could not do any of these amazing things without them!
