October Cybersecurity Awareness Month

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has launched a new cybersecurity awareness program – Secure Our World – through which the agency will be promoting behavioral change across the nation.

CISA encourages four key behaviors to greatly improve security:

  1. Use strong passwords and a password manager
  2. Implement multifactor authentication
  3. Learn how to recognize phishing and reporting phishing attempts
  4. Update software promptly

Find more resources at https://www.cisa.gov/cybersecurity-awareness-month or come to the library for a Digital Advice session on Monday or Friday with your questions.
