Note from the ACDIS Director

Launching the ACDIS Leadership Council

By Brian Murphy

If you’re a regular user of the ACDIS website (and we hope you are), you will be seeing a few new features in the coming days. In addition to streamlining the website, we’ve made a few adjustments related to a brand-new initiative  for CDI supervisors, managers, and directors working in the provider setting: The ACDIS Leadership Council. .

We believe the ACDIS Leadership Council will benefit the entirety of our membership and the broader CDI community. The Council will be taking succinct surveys to generate actionable data on how CDI departments nationwide are performing and operating. They will be sharing ideas and learning from one another both virtually and in face-to-face settings regarding management-level concerns.

Blog Highlight

Do you have a tip, story, or perspective to share with the broader ACDIS and CDI community? If you’re interested in writing a piece for the Blog, here are a couple guidelines for you:

  • Length: Typically, 500-700 words. If your post is longer, we may break it into two posts for readability.
  • Content: All things CDI (and coding too)! We love hearing about your experiences and the lessons you’ve learned about CDI along the way.

Besides those two guidelines, all you have to do is submit your piece to ACDIS Editor Linnea Archibald (larchibald@acdis.org).
