THE ROBERTSON FAMILY SAVED $20,838 BY USING THE DULUTH PUBLIC LIBRARY IN 2021 In 2021, the Robertson family checked out 1,274 books and saved a ton by using the Duluth Public Library. "Although my husband and I are avid readers, the bulk of these books were [borrowed] for our three kids, ages 8, 5, and 3. We homeschool, and I use the library to gather much of our material, in addition to books we [borrow] just for fun," said Duluth resident Amanda Robertson. VIRTUAL REALITY – For ages 13+ Feb. 24th, Mar. 10th & Mar. 26th | Main Library Join us for… Get a brief introduction into what virtual reality is and the amazing possibilities it holds for the future. The library now has Oculus Quest 2 Virtual Reality headsets, and we are giving patrons the opportunity to try them out and experience virtual reality. Register as an individual or up to 4 people for one hour. You must be 13 and older to use the virtual reality headsets at the library. There will be no exceptions to this rule. |
