Eastern Area Agency on Aging will hold public listening sessions on the proposed four-year Area Plan on Aging for Older Americans Act (OAA) funded programs and services that help older Mainers, and their care partners, remain healthy and safe in their communities.

Durgin Center Events and Activities

 

Join us for a Summer Skills Tai Chi session!

Keep your Tai Chi skills in use with these weekly summer sessions. These classes are for people who have taken Tai Chi before.

This is a joint-safe way for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy life and meet new friends while taking control of their physical, emotional, and mental health.

June 6 - August 29. Thursdays at 1:30. $45 for the class. Please sign up in advance by calling the Durgin Center.

Join us on June 28th at 1pm for a presentation on Legacy Planning by our June Durgin Center Sponsor Rise Private Wealth Management.


Legacy planning is about passing on what you think is important in life to the people or causes closest to you - and to future generations. Legacy planning can give you the resources and knowledge to help you align your legacy goals with your values.


We ask that you sign up in advance by calling the Durgin Center (207) 941-2865 so we know how many people to expect.

Zoom Support Group:

Monthly every third Thursday 2-3:30 p.m.

Caregivers come together to share their experiences in a confidential and supportive setting. These support groups help caregivers gain skills, build confidence, and learn about helpful community resources.
