November 2024

Eastern Area Agency on Aging is partnering with Green Acres Kennel Shop for the Green Acres Challenge, a fundraiser for the Furry Friends Food Bank, which supports older community members by providing monthly pet food kits. Don Hanson of Green Acres will donate $500 if $2,500 is reached and another $500 if $5,000 is reached.

Help us unlock the full $1,000 by donating today. Scan the QR code or visit EAAA.org/GreenAcresChallenge to make a difference for pets and their owners in our community.

Medicare Information

A new scam circulating Medicare beneficiaries is free neurological tests. This is a spin on the genetic testing that many are already well aware of.

If you receive any calls, texts, or emails notifying you of "free" testing, hang up and do not reply. Report scams to the SMP toll free number or call EAAA at (207) 941-2865.
