January 2025

This holiday season, several of our staff members and dedicated volunteers came together to create a heartfelt video sharing what they’re most thankful for and highlighting the vital role your donations play in supporting our mission.

As part of our Annual Appeal, this video serves as a reminder of the impact your generosity has on the lives of those we serve. We hope you’ll take a moment to watch this special message, feel the gratitude, and join us in celebrating the spirit of the season. Thank you for being such an important part of our community—your support truly makes a difference! To donate you can visit: eaaa.org/2025-annual-appeal-donations/

Dear Marci,

I have Original Medicare costs that are really high and was told I should look into getting a Medigap policy to help with some of the costs. Can you tell me more about Medigaps?

DENTAL CARE TIPS FOR CATS AND DOGS

From Furry Friends Food Bank

For humans and animals alike, dental health has a direct link to heart health. It is just as important for our dogs and cats as it is for us. Neglecting your pet’s oral hygiene can cause them to experience pain and health problems.

Here are some tips to help your pet’s oral health!

  • Use dental friendly treats and toys.
  • Try dental gel or spray or dental water additives
  • Visit your vet and have regular check ups
  • Keep an eye out at home for dental problems
