 Because we all care: Meet our ambassadors This month our Because we all care campaign has been paying special attention to the experiences of people with a learning disability and autistic people using health and social care. Our 7 new Because we all care ambassadors are sharing their personal experiences of using services. People with a learning disability and autistic people are more likely to experience poorer care and face inequalities. This is despite needing to use health services regularly. Their needs are not always met by the system, leaving them and their loved ones feeling diminished or ignored. That's why each of our ambassadors participated in our new photo shoot. They've also shared their personal experiences of using health and social care services. Together, they are using their stories to bring the community together to improve health and social care for everyone. The Because we all care campaign is led by CQC and Healthwatch England. This month's activity has been supported by other partners, including Mencap, Disability Rights UK and the National Autistic Society. |

 Changes to the way we work: An update We've published an update on the progress we have made on the changes to the way we work. We are making good progress on the plan we set out in December 2022, and our latest update explains how we are involving the public, health and social care providers, and others. Some of our recent work includes user research looking at what our new assessment reports should look like. We have also been looking at how we check that the people using the new provider portal are who they say they are. Weve engaged with over 1,000 stakeholders during this time. |
