President Jacob Zuma reportedly told Cyril Ramaphosa "do what you want to do" when asked whether he would agree to resign or face a recall.

If President Zuma ignores the reported recall by the ANC the ruling party may be forced to defend him against the opposition's motion of no-confidence

The rand gained more than 1% yesterday as the ANC’s head honchos met to discuss the removal of President Jacob Zuma as head of state.
