Medical Staff Services Week 2021

Did you know, according to a recent study, that memes can increase positive emotions and can help people cope with stress? So, for Medical Staff Services Awareness Week (November 7-13), we here at HCPro encourage you to celebrate all the hard work MSPs do with a little humor by creating and sharing your own MSP memes. Fewer MSPs plan to return to office

The number of MSPs planning to return to their on-site location fulltime has decreased over the past year, according to initial findings from the 2021 MSP Salary Survey. About 63% of respondents said they plan to return to working on-site when it is safe to do so (due to the COVID-19 pandemic). This is compared to last year, when 70% of MSPs said they plan to return to working on-site.

Top skills and traits for MSPs in 2022

Like most other healthcare staff, MSPs have been on an incredibly challenging and turbulent journey for almost two years. As we get ready to head into a new year, it’s a good time to assess the skills and traits it’s going to take to thrive, move ahead, and continue to work effectively with your medical staff. CRCJ asked medical staff services experts to share what important skills and traits MSPs should have or consider obtaining as they look to advance their careers in 2022.

As the virus spread throughout the U.S., the healthcare sector faced unique challenges to support their practitioners and keep patients safe. Although the pandemic is still an ongoing concern, some have begun to look at the lessons learned during this time and are considering how to apply them to healthcare in the future.
