Council fined £6 million for multiple failures on Guided Busway
HSE's investigation found a major transport system operated for almost a decade without basic safety measures, resulting in the deaths of 3 people.

Company fined after workers exposed to risks from vibrating tools
A £140,000 fine was issued after 2 workers were diagnosed with Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome following repeated exposure to vibration.

Bakery fined after employee loses part of finger
A £12,000 fine was issued after a worker's finger was injured when he reached into a dough divider whilst the machine was still running.

Builder sentenced for unlicensed asbestos removal
The builder had illegally removed asbestos-containing materials whilst carrying out renovation work.

Engineering firm fined after worker suffers multiple injuries
The firm was issued a £100,000 fine after a worker was crushed under a large metal frame, causing serious injures. 

£250,000 fine for waste firm after worker injured on first day of work
The fine was issued after a worker was severely injured, being hit by a moving shovel loader.

Community order for builder after man fell through barn roof
The builder has been sentenced to 200 hours of community service after health and safety failings resulted in a man falling through a barn roof, suffering serious injuries.
