A fast and frenetic day of racing saw the Development program tackle almost 170 kilometres of tricky Belgian roads. From the flag drop the race was action packed and Development Team Sunweb were involved in several attacks and breakaway moves. However, the race regrouped near the finish and would be decided in a sprint. Young German talent, Niklas Märkl, emerged victorious, beating his nearest contender in the lunge to the line and taking the Development program's fourth win in eight days.
