Limited vessel capacity 2017

March 2017

Since Chinese New Year, vessels have been full to capacity. Both for export & import shipments. Most trade lanes are affected but particularly the Middle East & Far East.
Carriers have adjusted schedules and reduced allocations for containers to / from Europe.

As a consequence of the limited capacity, sea freight rates have been increased. Further increases are expected from April 1st onwards.

We recommend, for you to place your bookings well in advance, or wherever possible, advise us of your schedule. We will always try to get you the earliest possible sailing, for the best rate!

ATA Carnet Brazil

March 2017

The ATA Carnet stands for Admission Temporaire - Temporary Admission. This document simplifies a number of rules for the temporary import and export of goods and is valid for the period of one year.

This ATA Carnet was already valid in more than 70 countries, and now it is also valid in Brazil.
By taking this measure, Brazil wants to encourage their international trade.

Please contact us for your shipments to and from Brazil.
