| RACING Together with all crew members and volunteers of the 'Helena' and 'Oosterschelde', the board of the foundation and the members of the Advisory Board, we participated last Saturday in the race "Rondje Tiengemeten" with the 'Helena'. It was quite a challenge for skipper Koen to keep all these sailors, mates, captains and skippers in line 😉 There was little wind, but nothing stopped us and we did everything we could to win the race. That didn't work out, but with the sun and good food from our ship's cooks it was still a successful day. |

MAINTENANCE UPDATE The 'Oosterschelde' has been back in the Leuvehaven since last week. There is still much work to be done. First the piping must be finished and only then can the floor be put back and construction can start. On Monday the topmasts were hoisted back into place and slowly but surely the ship looks like it was before (at least from the outside). Everything has to be ready on December 6, because then we leave for Tenerife. Do you still feel like sailing? There are still places available. | |
