SUMMER UPDATE FROM SCOTLAND
The past few weeks we have spent in Scotland. We enjoyed the wildlife, the rugged nature and the whisky distilleries. It is time to leave Scotland. But luckily there are always new adventures to come! There is a last-minute spot for a male available from Oban to Falmouth starting this weekend!
It is also an option to bring our beauty back home. From Falmouth we cross the North Sea and sail to the Netherlands!
MILE MAKER TO SUNNY CAPE VERDE
This autumn we set sail towards Cape Verde. We will leave our homeport Rotterdam on the 23rd of November to escape the autumn blues. At the beginning of this voyage, it might be cold but as we approach our final destination we will enjoy the warmth of this winter sun destination. Since this is a mile maker, we make one planned stop in Tenerife, but it is our aim to sail to Cape Verde as quickly as possible. This voyage is all about sailing! Can't get a month off? You can also join us from Rotterdam to Tenerife for three weeks, or for a week from Tenerife to Cape Verde.
DINING IN ROTTERDAM ON BOARD ‘HELENA’ THIS SATURDAY Do you have dinner plans already? If not, this Saturday, the 1st of September, you can still join our Mussels voyage on board ‘Helena’. While ship's cook Fred is preparing the mussels in the galley, you will be enjoying the view of Rotterdam, taking the helm or setting the sails. This is a dining experience like no other!
FIREWORKS VOYAGE ON BOARD ‘HELENA’ Step on board ‘Helena’ for a spectacular evening out the 8th of September! We will sail through the harbours of Rotterdam during the ‘World Port Days’. There will be plenty to see this evening as there are many ships that have come here especially for this event. The highlight of this evening is a fantastic firework show, which we will admire from an appropriate distance.
DUTCH TALL SHIP ALERT
'TECLA' ATTEMPTS TO SAIL THE NORTH WEST PASSAGE In the summer of 2019, 'Tecla' will attempt to sail the North West Passage. This stretch of over 3400 NM is littered with icebergs and will give you the opportunity to set foot on Inuit land. Captain Gijs has dreamed about this expedition for a few years now. Are you brave enough to join the expedition crew?
