Vertigo Dance Company, Oct. 29 & 30

Jerusalem's Vertigo Dance Company makes its Boston this month with Vertigo 20, a piece that revisits choreographer and co-founder Noa Wertheim's first 20 years creating dances for her company. Over the years, the company has become internationally celebrated not only for its artistic innovation but also for its unwavering commitment to the intersections of creativity, social responsibility, and ecological sustainability.

Join us for a free artist talk! A 20-minute talk with Noa Wertheim will be held in front of the stage immediately following the Sunday, October 30, performance. Moderator Peter DiMuro of The Dance Complex shares his perspective on the company ahead of the performance.

Final Weekend of Street Pianos Boston!

These past two weeks, we've had a blast watching Bostonians play, listen, explore, and enjoy the pianos on the streets of Boston and Cambridge. From Lang Lang's surprise performance at our Christian Science Plaza piano to artist Brendan Whipple's tribute to Big Papi at Fenway Park and artist Lou Lim's welcoming visuals of "Play Me, I'm Yours" carefully scrolled across a piano in American Sign Language —there are countless stories emerging from the 60 pianos. There's still time to make your own! We hope you'll enjoy these pianos before the festival ends Monday, October 10. Learn more about the project.
