Course Description: A scientific theory of the universe began to emerge about 100 years ago; it remains a work-in-progress. We explore many fascinating facts about our universe--its size, its age, what it contains, and of what it is made. What is expanding and what isn't, and what "Big Bang" and "expansion" really mean. Where did our universe come from? What is its future and how do we fit in? No prior scientific expertise required.
