Stiles received the 2016 Pulitzer Prize in History for Custer’s Trials: A Life on the Frontier of a New America, and the 2010 Pulitzer for Biography (as well as the 2009 National Book Award for Nonfiction) for The First Tycoon: The Epic Life of Cornelius Vanderbilt. He is also author of Jesse James: Last Rebel of the Civil War. And if politics are your thing, T.J. loves to talk about that as well. $100
