NHE builds first N.C. affordable housing community

Greenville’s NHE Inc. and Creative Builders are teaming up to launch construction on NHE’s first affordable housing complex in North Carolina. The development, Parkside at Hickory Group, will house 80 units near downtown Charlotte.

S.C. Education Department buys $15.3M in online resources

The department purchased digital learning resources from Charlotte-based Discovery Education including four Learning Management Systems. S.C. teachers and students will receive access to the content for three years. 

$13 million in grants approved for 19 S.C. counties

The S.C. Rural Infrastructure Authority approved a first round of funding for fiscal year 2021 that will help finance 28 projects and benefit more than 53,000 customers including water and sewer system improvements in Anderson County, Gaffney, Greenville County and Liberty, among others.
