CWA: A dazzling high tea event CWA Cockburn hosted an incredible charity high tea on 8 October at the Beeliar Community Centre. Attended by 100 guests, the event featured tiered gourmet delights, vintage china, and all the trimmings. The event was brimming with conversation and full of life, and the grand finale was a surprise wedding dress parade.
"We hosted a dazzling surprise during our High Tea which went off without a hitch! During the high tea we had a parade of women wearing our wedding dresses from 1960s-2020. Fran carefully documented the stories behind each dress which shared the intimate secrets and fascinating details of where and when it was originally worn, as a young woman gave each dress a new breath of life. Everyone in CWA contributed to this event, and we are so proud to have raised funds for our women's charities. We have set the bar high!" Dale Mason - CWA president |
