Al Roker’s forecast shows the storm system could bring 6 to 12 inches of snow, stretching from the Dakotas down to Missouri. |

U.S. intelligence suggests Russia prepping “false flag” operation |
---|
|
---|
The U.S. has information that the Russian government is planning a “false-flag” operation to justify invading Ukraine, the White House and the Pentagon said today. |
---|
|
---|
White House press secretary Jen Psaki said intelligence shows Russia has sent operatives trained in urban warfare into Ukraine to carry out acts of sabotage against Russia’s own proxy forces, then blame the attacks on Ukraine. |
---|
|
---|
“We are concerned that the Russian government is preparing for an invasion in Ukraine that may result in widespread human rights violations and war crimes should diplomacy fail to meet their objectives,” Psaki said at today’s White House briefing. |
---|
|
---|
The Kremlin has not responded to the allegations. |

---|
|

Australia’s immigration minister revoked Djokovic’s visa today on “health and good order grounds,” and said it was in “public interest.” |
---|
|
---|
The government has ordered Djokovic to return to immigration detention by this afternoon, but his lawyers have applied for an injunction to let him stay in the country. |
---|
|
---|
Djokovic drew the top seed at the Australian Open, where he has won a record nine of his 20 Grand Slam titles. |
