A word on the protests
Since it launched in 1968, Time Out has always spoken out against injustice. To stay silent as people across the world struggle against institutional racism is to be complicit. We fully support all those who are fighting for a fairer future. Black lives matter.

What does the future look like for London’s nightclubs?
When our city’s nightlife shut down in March no one dared make predictions. London’s promoters, DJs and festival organisers had been dealt an unthinkably cruel blow. We spoke to the doyens of clubland, and found out that the biggest challenges may still lie ahead.

All day Time to watch the Wives
Ah, ‘The Merry Wives of Windsor’. In the words of one of our esteemed theatre critics, ‘Shakespeare’s silliest play’. But silly can be good! As evinced by this super-recent, riotous, jazz-age production directed by the great Elle White. It stars proper theatre legend Pearce Quigley and Bryony Hannah of ‘Call the Midwife’ fame. So there’s that.
The best of the rest

Like a kebab but better
People often talk about kebabs in the context of a big night out, but those don’t really happen any more, do they? So maybe it’s time to make peace with the utterly sober kebab. And why not? These are staples of many Middle Eastern diets and surely deserve better than getting lumped in with lager, fights and smeared mascara. We asked nine of our favourite chefs how they make their doner devastating.
