| "...Pulling the car out of the Byron quicksand" | "In the third week of filming Designing a Legacy my Canberra born director, who has spent the last 7 years in Paris, picked the pouring rain in the Byron Hinterland, as the perfect spot to debut behind the wheel of the hire car.
In what I thought was a foolhardy move, he took the car down a dirt road and within minutes his beret was covered in mud and the car was well and truly bogged.
That left me with the job of cajoling a local farmer into pulling the car out of the Byron quicksand and if you look closely in episode you can see me in the rain with the wry smile of a man who watched a Parisian out of his depth in the bush." - Tim Ross | |
