NO IMPRUDENCE: A six-month investigation into power outages during Mardi Gras last year found that preventable computer errors left four times as many customers in the dark than necessary and that Entergy failed to warn New Orleans that the lights were about to go out. But the City Council, which ordered the report released Monday, is not likely to fine the utility for the outage that made so many miserable.
