Netflix tests new feature to clamp down on password sharing

The days of password sharing on Netflix are numbered.
 

Variety reports that the streaming service is testing a new feature warning users: "If you don't live with the owner of this account, you need your own account to keep watching."
 

Users then have three options after the prompt appears: an email or text verification code to authenticate the account, or they can click a button that says verify later. They are also given the option to sign up for a new account.
