They look just like anyone else, your average Joe or Jane, doing what they do, right there, in the walls of your school, you have real, live superheroes walking among you. They are our custodians, the real live superheroes we see every day, who work so hard to make school life cleaner, safer, and healthier. We love and appreciate their friendly personalities, can-do attitudes, and willingness to help in any situation. They work hard to make sure our schools sparkle and shine, keeping them clean and sanitized. They often go unnoticed, but every day they make a difference in the lives of students, staff, and teachers. The job may seem daunting, but they are certainly up for the challenge, and we want to honor that commitment, that dedication – the real-life superheroes we encounter every day. We are now taking nominations for the 2022-2023 Custodians are Key contest and we want to hear your story. Tell us about your Super Custodian. What are they doing to make a positive impact in your school and with your students, faculty, and staff? Throughout the 2022-2023 school year, a special committee will pour over the nominations and select a total of 12 deserving finalists. Each finalist will receive a $500 gift card and one Grand Prize Winner will win a prize valued at $5,000 and their school will receive $10,000! What are you waiting for?
