Microsoft released Windows 3.0 to wide success

Microsoft released Windows 3.0, a major milestone in the development of the Windows operating system. The third major release of Microsoft Windows introduced features like Program Manager and File Manager, improved user interface, and became the first widely successful version of Windows. Windows 3.0 was supported by a wide range of hardware and software, and was the first version of Windows to perform well both critically and commercially.

Namco Revealed Pacman

Namco held the first focus test for PAC-MAN, known as Puckman back then, to a select audience in Japan.

The World's Largest Tower Was Opened to the Public

The Tokyo Skytree in Japan surpassed China's Canton Tower after reaching its full height of 634 meters or 2,080 feet. The television and radio broadcasting tower is also the third tallest man-made structure after Merdeka 118 and the Burj Khalifa.
