Together for sustainable urban solutions

More than 400 sustainability enthusiasts explored how the global cleantech community can solve global urban development challenges at the Sustainable Urban Solutions conference in Copenhagen last Wednesday.

Present were also 12 selected cities from all over the world, as well as several global networks working with sustainable urban solutions.

The conference was an official side event of the Nordic Clean Energy Week and was funded by Nordic Innovation through the Nordic Sustainable Cities project.

Nordic CCI companies going abroad

Earlier this month, six Nordic companies from the cultural and creative industries (CCIs) met in Oslo to kick off their new adventure: The US market.

The companies are part of the Entrepreneurial Marketing program created by Nordic Innovation and Team Nordics in New York, which will increase Nordic CCI companies’ competences within sales, marketing and branding in one of the world’s most competitive marketplaces.

The Entrepreneurial Marketing program is aimed at CCI companies at a late startup stage or early growth phase with a product in the market. The program consists of two batches, and the first one is on its way to New York now.

Nordic companies ready to scale

Seven high-growth companies are selected to participate in batch 2 of the Nordic Scalers program to help them accelerate their next stages of growth. Nordic Scalers is the first Nordic level scale-up accelerator and coaching program.

From Food Waste to Biofuels

Nordic Energy Research and Nordic Innovation host a workshop on food waste and biofuels in Stavanger as part of the Norwegian Waste Management and Recycling Association’s (Avfall Norge) annual conference. The event is free of charge.
