Mastercard Gets Vocal on VocaLink, Kroger, Masterpass
 

Mastercard CEO Ajay Banga told investors yesterday that Mastercard in Q2 got a big boost from cross-border spending, along with the global embrace of bank account to bank account transactions that play into VocaLink’s hand as disbursements take center stage. Banga also said that “digital by default” expanded the roster of Masterpass-enabled customers — which next year will include Kroger’s co-branded card portfolio. Details.
