She's the owner of the Home Sweet Home store, which has been in the mall for decades. You could make the case that her store has kept the mall open these last 20 years. Now that the mall has new ownership — local ownership for the first time in decades, she pointed out — the mall has a new lease on life. "The new owners are already doing things," she said.
