Jeff Landy's wishes on Thursday, altering a measure to overhaul the state’s “jungle primary” system, and reshaping a bill to redraw the state's congressional map to include a second majority-Black district. The redistricting proposal passed by a House committee would split East Baton Rouge Parish into three districts, an idea Rep. Denise Marcelle, R-Baton Rouge, described as "insane."
