Louisiana this year will select a new governor. The field for the open seat could get exceptionally wide, given that incumbent Gov. John Bel Edwards cannot run again.
Traffic along South Acadian Thruway will be exceptionally bad this weekend and next. Crews are putting in a new railroad bridge between I-10 and Perkins Road, and that requires shutting down a lot of lanes, and at times the entire road. |
