CDI Week 2017 celebrations right around the corner

It seems like we’ve been waiting and planning forever, but CDI Week 2017 is just around the corner. This year’s festivities officially take place September 18-22, but we know CDI specialists have been planning for much longer than that—and, for that matter, so has the ACDIS team.

We’re so excited to celebrate the seventh annual CDI Week with you in just a few days—so let’s get on the trail and explore “The Wild West: New Frontiers in CDI!

Membership Update

CDI Journal offers tips for denials management

No matter how diligent the CDI team, payers will still issue claims denials. Because of this well-known fact, the September/October edition of the CDI Journal pulls together a number of voices on the subject of denials management, appeal writing, and the role CDI specialists play in mitigating the effects of such post-discharge scrutiny.

Conference update: Speaker application period extended till September 25

The deadline for speaker submissions for the 2018 ACDIS 11th Annual Conference has been extended due to the devastation brought by hurricanes Harvey and Irma. The new deadline is September 25. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who live and work in the affected areas.
