MAINTENANCE
Last week, Tall Ship OOSTERSCHELDE arrived in Rotterdam after winning the Tall Ships Race! What follows is a long maintenance period, during which the last part of the underwater hull will be renewed. All work will be carried out in Rotterdam and Franeker to get the ship in perfect condition for all voyages in 2023 and beyond!
 
ISLAND HOPPING IN CAPE VERDE
During the 11-day voyages in the Cape Verdean archipelago, the OOSTERSCHELDE will visit to six versatile islands. The sailing trips offer a varied combination of excursions on land to discover the islands and excellent sailing days! MILE-MAKERS
On December 6, 2022, the OOSTERSCHELDE starts with the first mile-maker of the season. The mile-maker voyages to and from Cape Verde are long sea voyages. Along the voyage, we regularly encounter special sea birds, dolphins and sometimes even whales! The mile-makers offer you the opportunity to escape the daily grind for a longer period of time. You can also sail part of it!

FIREWORKS EVENING TRIP
Sail on board the HELENA on September 3, 2022 and enjoy a spectacular fireworks show on the Nieuwe Maas during the evening sailing trip!

While enjoying fingerfood and drinks on board, you can sail along dozens of other ships that sail on the Nieuwe Maas during the Wereldhavendagen (World Port Days Rotterdam). You are cordially invited to help hoist the sails and take the helm. The evening will be concluded with a spectacular fireworks show near the famous Erasmus Bridge.
