His books for children include The Adventures in Cartooning series and the Toon Books Ape and Armadillo Take Over the World and Birdsong: A Story in Pictures . In addition, James was the series editor of a line of graphic novels about notable Americans including Helen Keller, Thoreau, and Satchel Paige. Ape and Armadillo Take Over The World Birdsong: A Story in Pictures Liniers Ricardo Liniers Siri has made a splash on the American scene with his New Yorker covers and Toon Books that include The Big Wet Balloon , Written and Drawn by Henrietta , and coming this fall Good Night, Planet (more on this soon!). All three of his TOON Books are also available in Spanish editions. He is the 2016-17 Center for Cartoon Studies Fellow. The Big Wet Balloon Written and Drawn by Henrietta Harry Bliss Harry Bliss is a cartoonist and cover artist for The New Yorker magazine and award-winning children’s book creator. His books include A Fine, Fine School (written by Newbery award-winning author, Sharon Creech), Which Would You Rather Be? (written by William Steig), and the #1 New York Times bestselling series Diary of a Worm, Diary of a Spider , and Diary of a Fly (written by Doreen Cronin). His Toon Book, Luke on the Loose , was the first comics that Harry both wrote and illustrated. Luke on the Loose Françoise is the editorial of TOON Books and the art editor of The New Yorker where she has been responsible for over 1,000 covers. She launched TOON nearly ten years ago to provide high-quality comics to children who were just learning to read.
