The Joint Commission has issued a clarification regarding the use of power strips in hospitals, along with what is permitted vs. what is not permitted. The clarification, which was published in the June issue of Perspectives, comes after reportedly 20% of hospitals surveyed in 2018 had violations regarding the power strips
