Today, Interpol has released an app that allows you to look up and report stolen art, New York City will be employing 1,500 artists this summer, and the Strike MoMA protests continue as the Museum of Modern Art continues to deflect from the issues being raised.

What's Happening

On Friday, artists and activists from “Strike MoMA” shined a spotlight on Gustavo Cisneros, husband of MoMA trustee Patricia Phelps de Cisneros, and his connections to mining in the Dominican Republic.
New York City will put artists to work this summer with a $25 million program inspired by the WPA. The recovery program, called City Artist Corps, will pay hundreds of local artists to beautify and activate public spaces across the city with murals, public artworks, performances, and more.
