Indhold
This part one of a two day training course is planned for teachers, speech and language therapists and colleagues who wish to work with professionals in training in the context of school and education as well as in health organizations and institutions. It is focused on the knowledge and skills needed to supervise students.
Topics will include models of adult education and professional learning, practical approaches to developing skills, possibilities for young teachers to assist the work of classroom teachers and specialised staff (ie: speech therapists and special educators), to assist the work of speech therapists working in health organizations giving and receiving professional feedback, problem solving, evaluation and assessment.
The overall aim will be to increase participants' confidence and ability to work with students and professionals in schools, in clinical settings or other placements, to ensure that the placement contributes to the life of the school and/or the institution as well as to the learning of both the professionals and students concerned. The exact content can be modified according to the needs of the participants.
This seminar will give the Clinicians the confidence and the appropriate skills to be able to observe, keep record of all observation for each student, give appropriate feedback, guide and supervise efficiently their students in clinical practice.
Day Two will be a follow up, building on the theory and practice covered in Day 1, and so will only be for participants who have attended Day 1
Vi glder os til at se dig.
