O-line job No. 1? Protecting Jayden

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

The LSU Tigers are rapidly approaching their regular-season finale Saturday against Texas A&M — rapidly approaching because the darned game kicks off at 11 a.m. on ESPN.

Everyone by now knows the game against the Aggies in Tiger Stadium will be one last potential Heisman Trophy showcase for LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels.

Protecting Daniels is paramount to his hopes and LSU's hopes of avoiding an upset, says our Reed Darcey. Check out this and his other four keys to victory for LSU on Saturday right here.

Our Sheldon Mickles is back for his last installment of top five games to watch across college football as the regular season comes to a close. And check out AP college football writer Ralph Russo's picks on the biggest games of the weekend.

Finally, Jim Derry and our "Bayou Bets" crew is back to talk about, among other things, LSU-A&M and Saints-Falcons, so please tune in right here.

From all of us at The Advocate, The Times-Picayune, TheAdvocate.com and NOLA.com, we hope you and yours will have a safe, joyous and tasty Thanksgiving. As you can probably guess, we're very thankful to have readers and subscribers like you.

Save us some cranberries!
