As a friend of Art in Action, we are pleased to let you know that OBJECT:ART was a huge success, raising over $200,000 to support equity in visual art education!
Some of the evening's highlights include: Emcee Mindi Bach talking about what having art at her kids' school means to her; our Founder Judy Sleeth receiving the President's Volunteer Service award and seeing how many people have carried her work forward; third graders who were painting in the style of Pollock; Google Doodler Dennis Hwang describing his research into the art and philanthropy of a football star; and Art Visionary Award recipient Vernon Davis describing how art has been integral to his life.
