Fresh off their historic 11-2 season, Tulane University football players will be tossing something other than the pigskin on Feb. 11, when they ride in the 2023 Krewe of Freret Carnival parade in New Orleans. A week later, Tulane coach Willie Fritz will reign as grand marshal of the Endymion parade.
TOP COP: The new interim police chief in New Orleans, Capt. Michelle Woodfork, comes with a pedigree in law enforcement, experience in the sex crimes unit and an on-the-job injury: a leg broken in 2017 when a drunk driver hit her and 29 other people on the Krewe of Endymion parade route.
